We are super, duper, crazy excited that we will get to spend plenty of quality time with friends and family leading up to, during, and after our wedding. We feel incredibly lucky that we have so many people in our lives that mean the world to us. The fact that we are able to share the experience of being on Maui with all of you during this very special time in our lives is really more than we could have ever asked for. It’s a dream come true.

You should be receiving your invitation soon, however, you may notice that it does not include many specific details (for example, the specific time that the wedding will take place) because, well, we haven’t figured it all out just yet. Additionally, we feel that a destination wedding involves more planning and information that just couldn’t be contained on a few slips of pretty paper.

Keep in mind that we know that there will be many people that are unable to attend. It is a long flight, involves ample time off of work and can be pretty costly. We are aware that any number of factors can make a trip like this impossible. We just hope that everyone understands why we just couldn’t bear the thought of having our wedding anywhere but this amazing place we now call home. Keep in mind that we hope to have small, casual celebrations in the upcoming year in both Chicago and in Cleveland. We can surely have a drink to celebrate, then!

We will be posting articles on when and how to book your flight, where and how to book a room or house, what deals we know about, fun stuff to do, and just any information about Maui that we may find interesting. Please, stay tuned! We love all of you, we can’t wait to share the island we love so much with each and every one of you who are able to join us. We really do want this to be an experience of a lifetime!
