Hey, hi there…YOU!

So, it feels weird to write my first post in a blog that will probably not have any readers. Are you reading this? Then you are probably the very first one! Good for you.

Oh, blogs. What will this blog be like? Well, it’s called Kent and Darlene…so there’s a good chance there will be a lot of Kent and Darlene related talk on here. Sounds exciting, huh? Yeah, I know. You can hardly contain the excitement!!!

I guess we just thought it would be fun to have a medium for sharing photos and updates about our lives. Hopefully some of you guys and gals check in from time to time. You know, having a record other than the oh-so-public (and admittedly annoying) Facebook will be a nice change of pace…and sharing it only with people we care about is important to us too. Do I really want my 400+ friends reading this? Nah.

So, here we stand (or sit, probably on our couches.) I’m going to update this whenever I feel the need and you are going to read this whenever you feel the need. Deal? Good! I promise to not write too much, to make what I do write at least 10% interesting, to post a lot of pictures and to try and not take this all too seriously. Life’s too short for all the seriousness going on these days.

Kent just came in with popsicles – that’s a good cue to end this first post!
